VALKYRIE

I exhibited this at the annual Sculpture Group Exhibition Conjoined 2017, organized by the Copro Gallery in Santa Monica, California. In Norse mythology, Valkyrie are female characters who decide which warriors to bring victory to, and which warriors to bring death to on the battlefield. I tried to portray a strong character as well as both sides of her nature.
